Posted by Sport Bible on Friday, January 26, 2019 07:00:00 A crafty kid from the south side of Chicago is doing something that’s not only fun but also a great way to spend a lazy weekend.
Cameron Wilson, 18, was inspired to start the crafty crafts after he and his friend found a box of Mason jars at a local craft store.
“It was like a big, giant box of jars,” Wilson said.
Wilson and his friends spent the weekend trying to find the perfect jar, and eventually found a jar from a craft store that Wilson would love to have.
The crafty teens found a Mason jar at a craft shop in Northbrook, Illinois, and thought it would be a good idea to make their own.
When they saw the idea of a mason jar, they said, “Oh my gosh, that’s awesome!”
“My mom has never seen one,” Wilson’s friend, Dylan, said.
“I don’t even know how to get one.
She would never touch one.”
The kids set out to make a Mason Jar for the day, and they found the perfect thing.
The two decided to start by cutting out the inside of the jar and decorating it with different art and stickers.
In the end, the kids made their own Mason Jar and decorated it with a bunch of stickers.
The Mason Jar project was a fun family project and their friends are really proud of it.
“[They] got to make something they would love and then they get to share it with other people and enjoy it,” Dylan said.
The kids even had fun with the project and were able to use a Mason Jars to decorate the backyard for a picnic.
(Dylan Wilson)”It is awesome to see that there are people out there that want to take advantage of this idea and make something unique,” Wilson added.
You can also check out the kids’ video to learn more about the Mason Jar, and if you are a parent or caretaker, you can send the project along to your kids and ask them to decorator the jar.
