Small craft beer makers are growing in popularity.
From beer, to wines, to spirits, to chocolate, craft beer is now gaining traction in the American diet.
And with beer growing in volume, we’ve got a lot of craft beers coming our way.
But where to start?
I have a few suggestions.
The first is to check out this list of the 10 smallest craft breweries in the United States.

Brewpub in Portland, OregonThe Brewpub was started by a couple brothers who were looking for an outlet for their family beer.
They wanted to be a place where they could showcase the best of the best, and make beer.
The name Brewpub is a nod to the Portland tradition of craft beer, where local breweries are housed in small, family-owned breweries.
The Brewpub’s first beer was released in 2002, and they’ve since expanded their product offerings.

Brewing Company in Vancouver, British ColumbiaThe Beer Company in Canada has been serving up some of Canada’s most popular beers since the early 1980s.
They’re well known for their Belgian-style beers, and are known for creating unique styles for their customers.
The Brewery’s flagship beers are a blend of two Belgian styles: pale ale and stout.
They also brew a few beers from around the globe, including an Irish-style beer, an Irish red ale, a Scottish-style ale, and a Belgian- style beer.
Bike to the brewery is a one-way trip for $30, and includes a tour of the brewery, a souvenir t-shirt, and beer samples.

Greenpoint Brewery in New York CityGreenpoint Brewery, located in Greenpoint, New York, has been brewing beer since 1971.
They produce a variety of styles, from IPAs to porters to stouts to hoppy ales.
Their flagship beer is the IPA.

Brewery Ommegang in Minneapolis, MinnesotaThe Brewery Omusic, which was founded in 2005, has a huge following for its unique beer styles.
Its specialty is hoppy beers, which they call “dank.”
The company has brewed a number of hoppy brews, including the iconic Ommegas, a dark stout that was the first beer in the world brewed with hops.
Ommegas are currently sold in cans and bottles, as well as in kegs and bottles.

Goose Island Brewery in Asheville, North CarolinaA small but well-known craft brewery in Asheville is one of the few that has expanded beyond its original home base.
Goose has been in business since 1985, and currently brews a number from its award-winning Blue Moon IPA to its award winning Double IPA, along with seasonal offerings such as Goose Island’s Wildfire, an Amber ale, an Imperial Stout, and Goose Island Brewing’s Black Ale.
Gosling is located in Asheville on Route 5 South, just outside of Asheville.6.
The Bruery in San Diego, CaliforniaWith the help of a local brewer, The Bruier has become one of California’s most celebrated craft brewers.
Their beers have garnered a wide range of accolades including awards from both the San Diego Craft Brewers Guild and the American Homebrewers Association.
Founder and head brewer Greg Bousquet is a beer-savvy veteran, who has been working in the industry since he was in high school.
Bousquets passion for beer is what drew him to the idea for the brewery in 2012.
Beer from the Bruery includes its award–winning Golden Lager and its Golden Ale, which is available in cans, kegs, and bottles in cans.
