A pumpkin is an excellent way to start your Halloween season.

In a small bowl, combine the flour, milk, sugar, cornstech, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
In another bowl, whisk together the warm water and pumpkin pureé.
Add the pumpkin pie crumbs and vanilla.
Using a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth.
Fold in the pumpkin pure, egg, and sour cream.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
Bake at 350°F for about 35 to 40 minutes.
You can serve the pumpkin cake at room temperature or chilled to room temperature.
You can also freeze the pumpkin cakes.
Make a cake for Halloween and then store in the freezer.
You could also bake the pumpkin pies in the refrigerator for a few days and store them in the same package.
